Terms of Service

Last updated: August 22, 2026

1. Agreement to terms

By installing the InReach browser extension or using inreach.tech, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using InReach on behalf of an institution, you are agreeing on that institution's behalf, and confirming you have the authority to do so.

2. What InReach does

InReach is a browser extension that translates text, audio, and video subtitles on web pages into sign language, rendered as an on-screen signing avatar. Translation runs on your device; InReach does not require or perform server-side processing of page content to do this.

3. Plans and billing

Free plan: available at no cost, with usage limits described on our pricing page. No account is required for basic use.

Premium plan: a paid monthly subscription unlocking unlimited usage. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and are billed through our payment provider.

Institutions plan: custom enterprise agreements, priced and scoped separately, governed additionally by the terms of that specific agreement.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the InReach extension outside the scope of your plan, and not to use it in a way that violates applicable law or infringes on the rights of others.

5. Intellectual property

InReach, the InReach name and logo, and the Zola signing avatar are the property of Nawe. The SignWriting pipeline and translation output generated for you are provided for your use under these terms and do not transfer ownership of our underlying technology.

6. Disclaimers

InReach is provided "as is." While we build it carefully and validate translations with native signers, sign language translation is a complex, evolving field, and we cannot guarantee perfect accuracy in every case. InReach is a communication aid, not a certified professional interpretation service, and should not be relied on in contexts (such as medical or legal proceedings) that require certified human interpretation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nawe and InReach are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the extension or website.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as InReach evolves. We'll update the date below when we do, and for material changes, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify account holders directly.
